Ganryu-jima (Funa-jima)

Ganryu-jima is a small island famous for the duel between Musashi Miyamoto and Kojiro Sasaki.

It is said that the island came to be called Ganryu-jima after Kojiro called himself “Ganryu.”

There are statues of Kojiro and Musashi at the observation plaza, where it is a popular photo spot.
