The entrance to the Kanmon Tunnel pedestrian passage is about a 10-minute walk from the Dannoura Battlefield. You can have the rare experience of walking across the Kanmon Strait, entering Fukuoka Prefecture from Yamaguchi Prefecture.

Enjoy local gourmet food such as the famous baked curry in Mojiko, which is attractive for its retro atmosphere. Tour the historical buildings and look for souvenirs to create memories of your trip.

After check-out, head to Tsunoshima Bridge, about an hour and a half away by car. It is one of Japan's most beautiful bridges, spanning the emerald green sea. Enjoy the superb view together, either by driving across or viewing from an observation deck.

Return towards Shimonoseki and stop by Ganso Kawarasoba Takase Kawatana Main Branch. The famous Kawarasoba, served piping hot on a tile, will add color to your trip memories.
